Research
I use geochemical and isotopic approaches to decipher both the geologic and human past. My research primarily involves using radiogenic and non-traditional metal stable isotopes as tracers and chronometers of Earth surface processes and to address questions of provenance.

Isotopic tracers and provenance in archaeology
The sources and fate of trace metals in the environment
Mercury as a tracer of massive volcanism in the geologic record; mercury isotopes as tracers of deposition pathways to marine sediments.
